 Greenchella, which is put on by the Fashion Institute of Technology, is a fun event that encourages students to be more environmentally friendly. People are asked to bring different things, like art tools, fabrics, and textbooks, to trade and exchange. This encourages resource reuse and reduces waste. Greenchella hosts a variety of activities throughout the week, such as workshops, discussions, and fashion shows, all of which focus on sustainable fashion practices. These give students the chance to learn about eco-friendly options and help make the fashion industry greener in the future. (open to everyone)Â
